The really, really big dog…
This is our new *baby* Wrangler. He’s a 180 lb Blue Merle Great Dane. He has a spectacular personality, loves to be hugged and loves everyone.
Sorry, I keep trying to get better photos but he’s excited to sniff out his new home and he wants, badly, to make friends with the very unfriendly cat.
Better pix to come when everyone’s calmed down.

Wow, what a cool coat he has! I hope he works out well as an addition to your family (and that there will be feline friendship as well). Is Solstice in hiding? LOL

I did set out to get a big dog…but I was thinking retriever or sheperd big…not great dane big. I have great memories of the great dane mix that a woman down the street had when I was growing up. I loved that dog and his beautiful, gentle spirit.
But this is a dog that NEEDED a home due to economic troubles in his previous home. And it is hard to find the right home for such a big dog.
Wrangler is the biggest, lovingest PUPPY you’ve ever seen. Yes, he’s full grown (thank goodness!) but he has the heart and spirit of a big, loveable puppy.
Oh, and Solstice has stopped looking a wild, halloween decoration as is calming down. They aren’t friends yet…but they aren’t enemies either.
