Two-dozen beautiful, pastured eggs from a local farm.

Eggs and raw milk, also from local farm.

Beautiful Whingari, eating roasted root vegetables and a whole wheat muffin while I put away groceries.
I pulled the eggs out of the refridgerator last night to make a frittata for dinner. I was struck by how beautiful all the natural colors of these eggshells were. I just had to take pictures.
I didn’t get the camera back out, but I could have, just to post the pix of the yolks. Pastured eggs have such beautiful, deeply-orange yolks.
They made a fantastic frittata — along with the organic yukon gold potatoes and real butter and olive oil.
Life is good and papa Chris is home today!
joyfully,
Mary
