I’ve spent time over the last 3 days getting quotes from moving companies. Chris and I have moved lots of times in our time together — we’re really good at it. šŸ™‚

But, with fuel prices being so high, I thought it a good idea to at least check into this option.

Know what I found? We aren’t consumptive enough. šŸ˜‰

Seriously, one company representative told me that, honestly, our move wouldn’t be big enough to consider a priority and thus, we shouldn’t expect our belongings to make it from Indianapolis to Bethesda in less than 5 days.

Um, ok. We work pretty hard to not be consumptive and to give away what we don’t need and just, generally, be good planetary citizens. But, apparently this makes us not important.

I can deal with that!

So, we’ll self-move just like we’ve almost always done.

Truck reserved. No talk of holiday and weekend delays. Just us, a moving van, a mini-van and 3 children. Yippeee šŸ˜‰
