Yesterday the mail carrier delivered such a box full of goodness.
Two different types of sock yarn…Terrain Twist (green and brown) for Chris; Cocoa for me. These are both washable wools and my first experience with sock yarn.
And needles. I’ve had my interchangeable circulars since June and knit with them every day. They are absolutely wonderful and I’ve not touched a double-pointed needle since.
Adding to that collection there’s a set of 60″ cables — for one piece sweater knitting; and fixed circulars in sizes from 0 to 3. These are the ones where the diameter of the needle is too small to work with the interchangeable cables.
Late last night I finished Whinnie’s sweater (photos to come) and this afternoon I cast on with the cocoa colorway.
And can I just say that size 2 (2.75mm) needles are veeeerrrrrry small.
