During these last few months of her ‘4-ness’ Whinnie has been changing rather dramatically.

Gone are most of the nuances of her toddler & babyness.

She is confident and focused (most of the time) and articulate and compassionate (most of the time…though less-so with her brothers 😉 ) and she exhibits a maturity that captures me.

I have that impulse to freeze time so that she doesn’t get any older on me.
But then I am so fascinated and captured by watching her change and grow that the impulse passes.
