The t-shirts and shorts are being packed away; sweaters, slacks and (hand knit) socks are replacing them in the drawers.

Even though I adore Autumn, it is harder to say goodbye to Summer this year. These last weeks of the heat have allowed us time to play at the park with friends and to come home exhausted and dirty. These days dwindle. Now park dates are shorter.

So we honor this changing of the seasons by visiting a local pumpkin patch.
The sky was so blue then that it almost seems fake in these photos. I assure you it is not. Each of these photos is just as they were then.
